Police versus Military
Do you know why the police force and the military are kept separate? It is a good reason. A valid reason. A reason so good, indeed, that the model is only violated by non-democratic dictatorships. It seems to me, however, that in the U.S. the police force has forgotten why it is not the military. It is becoming militarized and we all are the enemies that need to be subdued, pacified, destroyed....
